Renee Dobson

Principal Broker & Owner

I’m Renee Dobson, owner and principal broker of Renee Dobson Realty Group. I love our community, and there’s no place I’d rather live, work, and raise my family.

For me, real estate starts with relationships. Whether you’re buying your first home, selling a property, or exploring an investment, you can count on me for honest advice, clear communication, and a hands-on approach. I want you to feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout the process.

One of my favorite parts of my job is previewing properties and helping owners understand what their home could be worth. I offer free market analyses, drawing on local sales, market conditions, and my experience as a broker. These are my professional opinions of market value, rather than formal appraisals. I also love helping investors evaluate opportunities and make thoughtful, informed investment decisions.

My experience goes beyond helping clients buy and sell. I’m the developer of new homes on McKinney Street in Greensburg, and I own and manage rental properties through Dobson Property Management, LLC. From managing rentals to putting our skid steer and dump trailer to work on property improvements, I enjoy the practical side of real estate. That experience helps me recognize a property’s potential and understand the work involved in getting there.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Campbellsville University in 2001 and began my real estate career in Orlando, selling timeshares and vacation homes. After returning to Kentucky, I spent 10 years in advertising with the Central Kentucky News-Journal and earned my master’s degree in Special Education from Campbellsville University in 2008.

My Kentucky real estate career took me from Network Realty to Century 21, where I earned my broker’s license, and later to opening a Keller Williams Heartland satellite office in Campbellsville. Those experiences inspired me to create Renee Dobson Realty Group; which is a locally owned, independent brokerage built on trust, personal service, and community connections, without charging clients admin fees.

I love that no two days in real estate are alike. Every transaction brings different people, unexpected challenges, and sometimes hilarious moments I couldn’t make up if I tried. Between the surprises, the problem-solving, and the stories collected along the way, I could probably write a book! Through it all, helping people move forward is what makes this work meaningful to me.

Outside of work, I love a healthy, active lifestyle. You’ll find me boating on Green River Lake, kayaking on Green River, hiking local trails, or enjoying the Trace-Pitman Greenway. I also love mountain biking at Bluff Boom Park in Greensburg and racing my go-kart at Burg Raceway.

At home, I enjoy farm life with my four dogs and my son, Kayden, who lives with me and raises cattle on our farm. I love planting and tending to flowers as t’s one of my favorite ways to unwind. My daughter, Kelsey Milby, teaches at Green County High School, and I’m blessed with three granddaughters.

I wear many hats, but my favorite is my Grandma Hat!
