Principal Broker & Owner
I love our community and there’s no place I’d rather live, work and raise my family. Campbellsville is an oasis for outdoor adventure. My favorite things to do are taking my boat out on Green River Lake, kayaking on Green River with friends, hiking on one of our many trail systems, biking on the Trace Pitman Greenway, and living a healthy/active lifestyle.
I’m a single mother with two children. My son Kayden is a senior at Taylor County High School and my daughter Kelsey is a teacher at Green County Intermediate School and I have a one-year-old granddaughter named Leighton. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Campbellsville University in 2001. After graduation my daughter and I moved to Orlando, Florida and I obtained my real estate license in Florida to sell timeshare and vacation homes. I worked in Orlando for two years and then moved back to Kentucky. Shortly after moving back I started working for the Central KY News Journal as an Advertising Executive and worked there for 10 years. Then I went back to school and obtained my master’s degree in Special Education from Campbellsville University in 2008. It was after substitute teaching and applying for teaching jobs without receiving an interview that I decided to get my real estate license in Kentucky. My real estate career began with my best friend’s mom’s real estate brokerage Network Realty in Elizabethtown. After my first few listings I was approached by Century 21 to join their team. I was at Century 21 for six years and while there obtained my Brokers license because I knew one day I wanted to own a real estate brokerage. I had an opportunity to join Keller Williams Heartland and left C21 to open a satellite office for KW in Campbellsville. Several years and a lot of hard work later, I am now the owner and principal broker of Renee Dobson Realty Group.
Consultations with Renee Dobson Realty are always free. We’ll help you get the buying or selling process started.
